"Top 300" Music Celebrities

Steve Gladstone was the most famous rock music photographer that you never knew! Steve died with over 40,000 amazing “unseen” photographs hidden in his closet. He sadly only had the money to develop the negatives but never enough to print and promote the majority of his collection. So, most of these he never got to see before he passed away.

Steve captured Fine Art Rock and Roll Photography and documented "The Last Waltz". He shot stunning images of the most famous musicians of the day, often armed with only a single camera and half a roll of film. Gladstone’s ability to capture the essence and energy of his subjects makes his work singular both in the economy of the shots he was able to take and the intimacy of the moment he was able to convey.

His photographs include icons such as Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, The Who, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, Muddy Waters, Willie Nelson, Frank Zappa, John Lennon, Jerry Garcia, Howlin Wolf, The Kinks, Peter Tosh, Taj Mahal, Timothy Leary, Dr. John, Bill Tapia, Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Starship, Harry Dean Stanton, The Knack, Missing Persons and many others.
