“The End of Pictures” was the name that Steve gave to the artful collection of his favorite photos mixed with his own written words and drawings. It is a statement about the lost art of photography as Steve often explains and relives the journey of capturing the photo.
Steve never owned a digital camera. Steve didn't believe that there was "art" in shooting and editing hundreds of digital “snapshots”... he believed in composition, light, passion and capturing "the moment". Steve usually only had one lens, one camera and a half of a roll of film. The advent of digital photography marked "The END of PICTURES" as he knew it.
